My Personal Journey with Heavy Metal Toxicity: From Crisis to Clarity 🌿

Friends, as we've explored the Silent Invaders series together, many of you have asked about my own experience with heavy metal toxicity. Today, I want to share a more personal glimpse into this journey - not to overwhelm, but to offer hope and solidarity to those walking similar paths. ✨

When the Body Says "Enough" 🛑

My awakening to heavy metal toxicity didn't come gradually - it arrived like thunder on 11/11/11 at Hilo Medical Center during what would become a life-changing near-death experience. What I thought was an isolated health crisis revealed itself as the culmination of decades of exposure to lead, mercury, and other toxins that had been silently accumulating in my body.

The dental amalgams I'd carried since the 1960s, environmental exposures, and the cumulative burden of modern living had finally overwhelmed my body's ability to compensate. In that crystalline blue portal between worlds, I understood that my grandson was to be born just 10 days later - and the universe wasn't finished with me yet. 💫

The Healing Crisis That Became Wisdom 🌊

During my time in the jungles of Hawaii, seeking guidance while working through this healing crisis, I was "internally twisted, unable to express my desires or needs." The lead and toxins had affected not just my physical body, but my ability to communicate and connect authentically with the world around me.

It was there, surrounded by the sounds and smells of the awakening jungle, that I began to understand the deeper layers of healing that would guide my recovery journey forward.

The Five Pillars of My Recovery 🏛️

Through trial, error, and divine guidance, I discovered five foundational practices that became the cornerstones of my healing:

1. Embodiment Practices: Learning to truly inhabit my body again after toxins had disconnected me from my physical vessel. This meant gentle movement, breathwork, and practices that helped me feel safe in my own skin.

2. Theta Consciousness: Accessing the theta brainwave state through meditation and activation practices allowed me to work with my body's healing intelligence at the deepest levels. In theta, I could communicate directly with my cells and support their natural detoxification processes.

3. Nutrition as Medicine: Embracing organic, whole foods that nourish rather than burden the body. Every meal became an opportunity to support my liver, kidneys, and elimination pathways while reducing further toxic exposure.

4. Targeted Supplementation: Working with specific nutrients and herbs that support heavy metal detoxification - from glutathione and selenium to milk thistle and cilantro. Each supplement was chosen to support my body's natural healing mechanisms.

5. Dance and Movement: Discovering that gentle, flowing movement helped mobilize toxins from tissues while reconnecting me with joy and vitality. Dance became both medicine and celebration of my body's resilience.

6. Nature Immersion: Spending time in natural environments that reminded my cells of their original blueprint for health. The earth's electromagnetic field, fresh air, and natural rhythms all supported my healing process.

What I've Learned Along the Way 🌱

The journey taught me that healing happens on multiple levels - physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual. The heavy metals weren't just affecting my organs; they were blocking my ability to express my authentic self and connect with my purpose.

Through this integrated approach, I learned to work with my body's natural detoxification pathways rather than against them. Each practice supported the others, creating a synergistic healing environment.

Most importantly, I discovered that our healing crises often become our greatest teachers. That difficult period led me to deeper understanding of plant medicine, energy healing, and the interconnectedness of all life.

A Message of Hope 💝

If you're struggling with heavy metal toxicity or any health challenge, please know that you're not alone. Our bodies have remarkable resilience when properly supported through multiple pathways. The path back to balance exists, even when it feels impossible to find.

Sometimes we must go through the darkness to appreciate the light. Sometimes we must lose our voice to find our true song. But with patience, the right support, and trust in our body's wisdom, transformation becomes possible.

All Will Be Well. ✨

What questions do you have about navigating your own healing journey? I'm here to support you with both practical wisdom and spiritual encouragement.

As we complete our journey through these twelve heavy metals, I'm reminded of Oyasin's words from "The Last of the Ancient Earth Keepers"

"Be prepared in our thoughts that we will accept whatever comes and that All Will Be Well."

Knowledge without fear – this has been our guiding principle throughout this series. We've explored the shadows cast by our industrial world, not to instill dread, but to illuminate the path forward.

Like the ancient dragons who carried wisdom through generations, we too must become keepers of essential knowledge. The heavy metals we've discussed – Cadmium, Barium, Aluminum, Lead, Mercury, Arsenic, Nickel, Tin, Cesium, Thallium, Antimony, and Gadolinium – represent both the ingenuity and the unintended consequences of human progress.

Yet as Xandrah wisely cautioned Oyasin, "If you ready for an attack, then an attack shall find you." We don't approach these environmental challenges from a place of fear, but from a stance of empowered awareness.

What actions can we take with this knowledge?

First, we can make conscious choices about what we bring into our homes, what we consume, and how we interact with our environment. Small daily decisions create powerful ripples.

Second, we can support efforts to reduce industrial pollution, improve water quality, and advocate for stricter regulations on toxic substances.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we can reconnect with the ancient wisdom that reminds us we are part of nature, not separate from it. As written:

"New Ways Created As We Open Up Our Eyes…New Ways Give Birth To Freedom On the Rise …"

These new ways include honoring traditional knowledge while embracing scientific understanding – creating a bridge between worlds, just as the characters in my stories do.

Remember, this knowledge is your black stone with three points of crystal – a guide to help you navigate with awareness, not fear. For our children, Earth's children... all children deserve a world where the invisible no longer harms, and where the paths we create lead somewhere worth going.

Mitakuye Oyasin – We are all related, to each other and to every element on this precious Earth.
